International Collie Day Giveaway — Terms and Conditions
Promoter
This giveaway is operated by Pine Tree Hill Farms, operated by Pacific Milk Limited (“the Promoter”).
- Eligibility
The giveaway is open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or older. Employees and immediate family members of the Promoter are not eligible to enter. - All breeds welcome
Despite being held in celebration of International Collie Day, dogs of every breed, mix and questionable family history are welcome to enter as honorary collies. - Giveaway period
Entries open when the giveaway post is published and close at 9:00pm New Zealand time on Tuesday, 21 July 2026. Entries received after the closing time will not be accepted. - How to enter
To submit one valid entry, entrants must:
- Comment on the original giveaway post with a photo of their dog; and
- Share the original giveaway post to their Instagram story and tag @pinetreehillfarms.
- Entrants with private accounts must send @pinetreehillfarms a screenshot of their story share before entries close so it can be verified.
- Entry limits
One valid entry is permitted per Instagram account. No purchase is necessary. - Prize
One winner will receive one Collie Ball. The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. - Winner selection
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries after the giveaway closes. The winner will be announced through the Pine Tree Hill Farms Instagram account on Wednesday, 21 July 2026. - Claiming the prize
The winner must respond within 48 hours of being contacted and provide a New Zealand delivery address. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within 48 hours or is found to have submitted an invalid entry, the Promoter may draw another winner. - Delivery
The prize will be delivered to a valid New Zealand address. The Promoter is not responsible for delays, loss or damage occurring during delivery where these circumstances are outside the Promoter’s reasonable control. - Safe use and supervision
The winner accepts responsibility for determining whether the prize is appropriate for their dog. The Collie Ball must be used in a suitable, safe environment and under appropriate supervision. The winner should inspect the prize regularly and stop using it if it becomes damaged or unsafe. No dog toy should be treated as indestructible. - Liability disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the winner accepts that possession and use of the prize are at their own risk. Pine Tree Hill Farms and Pacific Milk Limited will not be liable for any accident, injury, illness, loss, death or property damage involving any person or animal arising from the use, misuse, storage or handling of the prize.
This exclusion does not apply where the loss or injury was caused by an unlawful act or omission of the Promoter, or where liability cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable New Zealand law.
- Entry photographs
Entrants confirm that they have the right to submit their photograph. By entering, they give Pine Tree Hill Farms permission to repost their entry photograph and Instagram username in connection with administering, promoting or announcing the giveaway. Credit will be provided where reasonably practical. - Changes or cancellation
The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the giveaway where circumstances outside its reasonable control prevent it from operating as intended. Any material changes will be communicated through @pinetreehillfarms. - Instagram disclaimer
This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram. By entering, each entrant releases Instagram from any responsibility connected with the giveaway. - Scam warning
The winner will only be contacted by @pinetreehillfarms. Pine Tree Hill Farms will never request payment, banking details or credit-card information to release the prize. - Acceptance
Entry into the giveaway constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Promoter’s decision regarding entry validity and winner selection is final, subject to applicable law.
