Pine Tree Hill Early Development Curriculum™ Head Start Training
Head Start Puppy
9–10 weeks — Companion Puppy fee + $700 + GST*
Includes continued training foundations.
Additional skills introduced:
• Place command
• Leash introduction
• Down command
• Impulse control foundations
• Structured engagement work
Equivalent to the first several weeks of puppy foundation training.
Foundations Puppy
11–12 weeks — Companion Puppy fee + $1,700 + GST*
Includes extended development and structured training.
Skills developing at this stage:
• Reliable recall reinforcement
• Place with duration
• Calm crate independence
• Loose leash walking foundations
• Polite greeting behaviour
• Early impulse control routines
Comparable to the foundations many families work toward in their first training course.
The Head Start Training Program introduces foundational skills and routines, but puppies at this age are still developing. Continued training and consistency from the new owner will be essential for these foundations to develop into reliable adult behaviours.

Head Start Program
We open the option for the Head Start Training Program at 7-8 weeks after puppies have been matched to their families.
Because the program requires significant one-on-one time, only a limited number of puppies from each litter can participate.
Transport

If you need to transport your puppy, we are happy to help you arrange this.
You will be responsible for paying the cost of the transport.
*All prices are exclusive of GST (15% GST added at invoicing). Prices are subject to change. Full payment is required a minimum of three days prior to the puppy turning 8 weeks old. I do not accept any deposits or payments until after puppies are assigned to homes at 8 weeks of age.
